Bholu

BHOLU products are designed in Australia and are brought to life the by hands of artisans in India. The line ranges from hand-embroidered felt cushions, rugs, creatures and hand-bound journals – all made by traditional techniques, giving each product its own personality. The philosophy behind Bholu is about creating products that we love and live with, while benefiting communities we work with along the way. Artisans gain an income, hence independence and opportunity. Part proceeds go back to the women and their communities, along with rebuilding preschools (The Anganwadi Project) for underprivileged children. Bholu is a Fair Trade and Climate Neutral Company and was selected as one of TIME magazines Top 100 Green Designs for 2009.
