According to founder, Kim Austin of AUSTIN PRESS, had she followed one path and become a farmer, we just might be taking six-foot green beans for granted! But for better or worse, Austin decided to forsake the farm fields and buy a lovely antique Chandler & Price letterpress machine instead. And so it is that this fine paper ephemera comes to you from her San Francisco studio. Each piece is handmade, combining vintage illustrations carefully selected from antiquarian books, and traditional hues of the early printers (sepia, red, blue) with added finishing touches like brass eyelets and baker’s twine.
